| Biography | Michael B. Tischman is counsel to public and private companies in diverse transactional matters including mergers and acquisitions, financings, corporate restructurings, joint ventures, complex shareholder agreements and other contracts, and private placements of real estate and business offerings and investments. For more than forty years, Mr. Tischman has represented owners in the purchase or sale of businesses of all types, through stock sales, asset sales, direct and indirect mergers and other corporate reorganizations, and hybrid transactions, involving both public and private companies. In addition, Mr. Tischman is active in representing hospitals in affiliation, merger, and acquisition/sale transactions, and in their acquisitions/sales of medical practices; medical/dental groups and PPOs in both acquiring and selling modes; and institutional lenders in providing financing to hospitals for acquisitions of medical practices and general working capital.
