Michael Bordin is a Certified Specialist in Civil Litigation who has established a reputation for his immediate grasp of complex facts and the problems his clients face coupled with his ability to provide strategic, no-nonsense advice aimed at a timely and cost-effective resolution. Michael also relishes strategically preparing for and conducting trials. His most memorable trial to date was as co-counsel with John F. Evans in the nationally publicized claim brought by a Caledonia family against the OPP and the Province arising out of the aboriginal occupation at Douglas Creek Estates.
Michael combines strong communication, presentation, problem solving and relational skills, with sound judgment and analysis to solve his clients' problems and advocate on their behalf. His practice focuses primarily on business disputes, shareholder conflicts, professional negligence, injunctions, estate litigation and construction litigation. Michael has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario.

Michael is the co-chair of the Hamilton Law Association's semi-annual Technology seminar and enjoys using technology to ensure maximum efficiency and advantage to clients. He is also the co-chair of the Hamilton Law Association's annual Commercial Litigation Seminar and has delivered a number of papers at HLA continuing professional development programs.
Michael graduated from McMaster University in Honours English and the University of Western Ontario Law School. He is a Trustee of the Hamilton Law Association, and has been a board member of Artaban Non-Profit Homes, Sanctuary Ministries of Toronto and Ainslie Wood Westdale Community Association of Resident Homeowners.
