Michael is a Practice Support Lawyer in our Securities Group.
Prior to joining Cassels Brock, Michael spent over ten years in the Corporate Finance Branch of the Ontario Securities Commission. During this time, he led a team of lawyers whose responsibilities included the review, vetting and analysis of prospectuses and continuous disclosure documents, as well as the processing of exemptive relief applications. Michael was also involved in the regulation of take-over/issuer bids and mergers and acquisitions. His extensive policy experience at the Commission included work related to capital pool companies, audit committees, corporate governance and credit rating agencies.
