| Additional Bio Details | Michael Ferguson is founding partner of Ferguson & Berland, a Berkeley-based practice he established in partnership in 1974 with fellow Boalt alum William Berland. Mr. Ferguson is certified as a specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate law by the State Bar of California and is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Council. He has served as chairman of the State Bar?s Board of Legal Specialization and as chair of the State Bar?s Estate Planning, Probate & Trust Law Advisory Commission. He has been recognized by the State Bar of California?s for his commitment to its specialization programs and in 1999 received the Bar?s annual C. Rick Chamberlain Award. Early in his career, Michael was Board Chairman and General Council for the Rockridge Health Care Plan -- an Oakland, CA based HMO serving predominantly MediCal population. |
