Mr. Butterman is a 1959 graduate of Yale Law School and a magna cum laude graduate of Lehigh University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He also was the Smith Mundt Exchange Scholar at the National University of Zulia in Maracaibo, Venezuela. Mr. Butterman speaks Spanish and Portuguese.
