Michael D. Hardy is a partner in the South Bend, Indiana office of Barnes & Thornburg LLP where he is a member of the Real Estate Department and co-chair of the firm's Financial Institutions Practice Group. He concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial, banking, and real estate transactions, as well as consumer credit issues. He has extensive experience in both bank commercial lending matters and large commercial foreclosure actions.
Mr. Hardy is active in the local community, serving on the boards of the South Bend Chapter of the Izaak Walton League and the Salvation Army's Advisory Council.
Mr. Hardy graduated with high honors from the University of South Florida and received his J.D. degree magna cum laude from Indiana University School of Law-Bloomington. He is admitted to practice in the state of Indiana, U. S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit Court.
