Mike practices in the areas of commercial and residential real estate development and leasing, including PUD's, shopping centers, power centers, shopping center redevelopment, industrial parks, office buildings; representation of banks, savings and loan associations and insurance companies in connection with a wide range of a loans; negotiation and preparation of aggregate, limestone and sand mining leases; oil, gas and mineral rights sales and releases; negotiation and preparation of ground leases, build to suit leases and reverse build to suit leases.
Notable Experience
· Mike represented the St. Louis Cardinals in connection with the development and construction of their new spring training facility and baseball stadium in Jupiter, FL, and the Boston Red Sox in connection with the development of the team's new spring training facility in Ft. Myers, FL.
· He has represented developers in connection with a wide range of transactions, including sales to or leases with Home Depot, Lowe's, Burger King, Pollo Tropical, 7-Eleven, Walmart, Publix, Winn Dixie, Albertsons, Sears, Chick-fil-A, McDonalds, Target, Macys, JC Penney, Belks, CVS, Walgreens, Shoe Carnival, Ross Stores, Books a Million, Gap, Bed Bath and Beyond, Regions Bank, Bank of America, Simon Properties, Chili's, Office Depot, Subway, Washington Mutual, Bank United, WCI Communities, Centex, G.L. Homes, Tupperware, Dairy Queen, Branch Bank & Trust, Colonial Bank, TGI Friday's, and Pier 1.
· Mike represented clients in the redevelopment of Pompano Citi Centre and the Winter Haven Mall.
· He was real estate counsel on a $250 million loan for the construction of a gas pipeline, and assisted as real estate counsel for the $1.6 billion bond issuance by the South Florida Water Management District.

Mike was the Mayor of Village of Golf, Florida from 2002 to 2008 and presently sits on the Village Council. He was a trustee of the Gulf Stream School in Gulf Stream, Florida from 1998 to 2007.
