| Biography | Michael E Knapp earned his J.D. Degree from Willamette University in 1988. He has extensive experience representing clients in civil litigation matters including construction disputes, contract disputes, collections, and business and real property disputes. He represents clients in arbitrations, mediations, state courts, federal courts and administrative proceedings. In 1993, Mr. Knapp established his private practice focusing on legal matters relevant to small businesses including, creditors' rights, contract and construction disputes, organizing corporations and limited liability companies, and general business advice. He has represented both buyers and sellers in various forms of business sale agreements and real property transactions. Mr. Knapp strives to provide our clients with the best representation possible by focusing on these critical business areas. Mr. Knapp is an active member of the Oregon State Bar, the United States District Court for the District of Oregon, and has served in various capacities with nonprofit and charitable organizations in this community. He is an active member of the National Association of Credit Managers (NACM) and Salem/Albany Credit and Financial Development Division (CFDD). Mr. Knapp is an occasional speaker on collections and construction disputes for local organizations. He is also a member of the Homebuilders Association of Marion & Polk Counties.
