| Biography | Michael LeMire represents clients in a wide variety of real estate and business transactions. His practice includes real estate development, financing, acquisition, sale and leasing, as well as business sales and acquisitions, financing and general business planning and advisory services. He also advises clients in technology transactions and software and trademark licensing. His practice also includes forming business entities, drafting and negotiating partnership agreements, limited liability company operating agreements and shareholder agreements, preparing and negotiating declarations, easements and other real estate development documents and a wide range of other commercial matters. Mr. LeMire assisted in the successful acquisition and development of the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Resort. Prior to rejoining Miles & Stockbridge, Mr. LeMire served as general counsel and vice president of operations at Sequoia Software Corporation, where he assisted in a $33 million round of venture capital financing, Sequoia's IPO in May of 2000 and the subsequent sale of the company to Citrix Systems, Inc., in May of 2001.
