Michael Friscia is a registered patent attorney and has been practicing patent and trademark law for over 20 years. His practice covers all areas of Intellectual Property (IP) law. He handles the preparation and prosecution of substantial patent portfolios for his clients in the mechanical and electrical fields, including computer systems, business methods and other technologies. His clients include small and large business and a number of universities. He also has significant experience successfully representing clients in patent litigation. Mr. Friscia also regularly assists clients with acquiring and enforcing trademark rights, and in a number of matters, he has successfully obtained injunctive relief for his clients in Federal District Court. He has represented clients in a large number of inter partes proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Mr. Friscia served an adjunct professor at Seton Hall Law School from 1999 - 2006, where he taught courses in Patent Law and in Trademark Law. He is a frequent speaker on Intellectual Property issues.
Mr. Friscia has been recognized as a Chambers USA "Leaders in their Field" lawyer for 2012.
