Michael is an Associate in the firm's Public Finance department. He has been involved in financing a wide range of projects for states, municipalities and non-profit organizations. Michael has served as bond counsel to cities, towns and school districts. He has also served as bond counsel, borrower's counsel and underwriter's counsel in connection with a variety of revenue bond transactions involving non-profit organizations such as colleges, universities and healthcare organizations.

Before Edwards Wildman

Michael was a teacher before joining the firm. Prior to law school, he was a middle school English teacher in New York City. Michael then spent two years teaching in Japan and travelling throughout Asia.

Besides Edwards Wildman

Michael enjoys supporting local non-profit organizations. He has served as a reading mentor in a local elementary school through Boston Partners in Education, as a member of the Neighborhood Association of the Back Bay and as a member of Fenway Health's Young Leaders Council. Michael also enjoys the performing arts and trying new restaurants.


Southcoast Health System 501(c)(3) Revenue Bonds

Edwards Wildman has a long history of serving as bond counsel in connection with the issuance of qualified 501(c)(3) bonds by the Massachusetts Development Finance Agency (and its predecessor) for the benefit of Southcoast Health System, Inc., a Massachusetts non-profit corporation that oversees and coordinates a series of affiliated corporations that provide a broad range of health care and related services to southeastern Massachusetts and adjoining communities in Rhode Island.
