    Michael is an Associate in the firm's Public Finance Department. He has been involved in financing a wide range of projects for states, municipalities and non-profit organizations throughout New England. Michael has served as bond counsel for cities, towns and school districts. He has also served as bond counsel and underwriter's counsel in connection with a variety of revenue bond transactions involving conduit issuers.     Michael was a teacher prior to joining the firm. Before law school, he was selected by Teach for America to teach middle school in Harlem for two years. Michael then spent two years teaching in Japan and travelling throughout Asia.

    Michael enjoys supporting local non-profit organizations. He has served as a reading mentor in a local elementary school through Boston Partners in Education, as a member of the Neighborhood Association of the Back Bay and as a member of Fenway Health's Young Leaders Council. Michael also enjoys the performing arts and trying new restaurants.
