Michael Starler, practicing law in Los Angeles since 1975, has considerable experience representing primarily high net worth individuals and closely held businesses. Michael's clients benefit from his guidance and practical approach to structuring integrated estate plans, business entities and business transactions, drawing on his more than 30 years experience involving a wide variety of legal matters. Michael's practice focuses on sophisticated estate planning, including use of family limited partnerships and family limited liability companies, business succession planning, and individual, corporate and partnership tax. He also has substantial experience in tax controversy matters, complex business transactional law (e.g. taxable and non-taxable mergers and acquisitions), corporate law, private charitable foundations, partnership and limited liability law, real estate law, executive deferred compensation (qualified and non-qualified), and marital agreements.
