Michael Fritz practices in the area of business and finance. Michael represents borrowers, commercial banks and other lending institutions in connection with various financing transactions, including term and revolving credit facilities, commercial real estate loans, mezzanine financings, intercreditor arrangements, workouts, and recapitalizations. He also has experience representing private equity funds, hedge funds, and other business entities in connection with a variety of commercial transactions, including, acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, preferred equity investments, distressed investments, and other general contracting matters. Additionally, Michael has experience representing sponsors in connection with organizing and structuring domestic and offshore private investment funds, including commercial real estate private equity funds and multi-strategy hedge funds.
Prior to joining Shipman & Goodwin, Michael was a general practice associate with Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in New York City.
