Michael J. Kaye is a partner in the Indianapolis, Indiana office of Barnes & Thornburg and a member of the Corporate Department. He concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial and corporate finance. Mr. Kaye has represented financial institutions and businesses in numerous types of transactions, including secured transactions, syndicated lending transactions, asset-based financings, credit-enhanced transactions, commercial real estate, ESOP leveraged financings, project finance, and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Kaye often represents the agent bank in large multibank syndicated financings. He also regularly represents middle-market lenders. Mr. Kaye has negotiated intercreditor agreements, subordination agreements, and participation agreements. Mr. Kaye graduated with honors from Michigan State University in 1984 and received his law degree cum laude from the Indiana University School of Law in 1987. Mr. Kaye has served as a section representative for the Indianapolis Bar Association's Business Law Section. He is admitted to practice law in Indiana. |
