| Biography | Mike is a member in the firm's Boston office, and serves as Chairman and Manager of the Tax Section. He concentrates in the tax planning of real estate transactions, including REITs, corporate acquisitions, restructurings and financings, including debt restructurings of financially troubled corporations, executive compensation, and international transactions. Before joining Mintz Levin, Mike practiced at Fine & Ambrogne, where he led the firm's tax practice, after practicing in New York City. Mike has written for professional publications and lectured on matters of corporate, bankruptcy, and real estate tax law. Mike is admitted to practice in New York. He received his B.A., summa cum laude, from the State University of New York at Albany (1972) and his J.D. from Harvard Law School (1976).
