ExperienceMichael carries on a litigation practice focused primarily on bankruptcy and insolvency matters and commercial and corporate litigation. He has appeared in all levels of Courts in Alberta and in the Supreme Court of Canada on several occasions.
Michael has published articles and case comments for a number of legal publications, including the Canadian Bankruptcy Reports and Alberta Law Reports, and has prepared and delivered papers for many organizations including Legal Education Society of Alberta, Canadian Bar Association, Insight, Canadian Insolvency Practitioners Association, Canadian Institute and Insolvency Institute of Canada.
Michael's articles have occasionally been referred to by the Courts including to the Alberta Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada.
