Michael Abitabilo is an Associate in the White Plains, New York, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. His practice focuses on employment litigation, as well as both public and private sector labor law.
For almost five years, Mr. Abitabilo assisted in writing a weekly column entitled “The Next Day At The Office” addressing, in a humorous way, the legal workplace issues as portrayed in the television show The Office.
While attending law school, he served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Hofstra Labor & Employment Law Journal, and was a member of the Moot Court Association. In addition to receiving an award for excellence in commercial law courses, Mr. Abitabilo was proud to receive the Jonathan Falk Memorial Scholarship, awarded to the candidate who exhibits those qualities of personality, intellect, and interest in labor and employment law that are most similar to those of Jonathan Falk - a former Jackson Lewis associate who tragically passed away in the 1978 San Diego air disaster while traveling to California to meet with a client.
