Michael L. Kuppersmith is an associate in Crowell & Moring's Washington, DC office. Michael is a member of the firm's Litigation, Torts, and Product Risk Management Groups. His practice involves a wide variety of litigation matters, including environmental remediation, antitrust, and misappropriation of trade secrets. Michael's practice also consists of regulatory counseling for consumer products regulated by the CPSC and automotive issues regulated by NHTSA.
Michael received his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School in 2010. While in law school, Michael served as a Comment Editor and the Topic Access Editor for the University of Chicago Legal Forum and earned an Honorable Mention in the 2009-10 Hinton Moot Court Competition. Michael has interned for the Honorable Judge John D. Bates at the United States District Court for the District of Columbia and has served as a research assistant to Professor Alison Siegler and Professor Thomas Miles. In 2007, Michael graduated from the University of Chicago with a B.A. in Public Policy, with honors, and a minor in Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations.
