Mike Lowry has 30 years of experience in traditional labor law, representing clients under the Railway Labor and National Labor Relations Acts. He has significant contract negotiations experience in many industries and recently has represented airlines, television stations, and the retail automobile industry. Mike has handled more than 100 contract negotiation matters both under the National Labor Relations Act and Railway Labor Act. In addition, he has advised management on the labor and employment issues arising in various mergers and acquisitions under both acts. He has conducted business for clients in all but two states.
During law school, he published two articles and served as an editor of the Washington and Lee Law Review.
Recent Experience
· Successfully concluded contract negotiations for an airline client with over 1,700 pilots.
· Managed multiple lawyers and multiple firms in a California wage and hour case against an airline to summary judgment which was upheld by the California Court of Appeals.
· Managed Railway Labor Act litigation in California against an airline to a successful settlement.
