Mr. Ostrowsky chairs the firm's Real Estate Law Group. He is also a Member of the Corporate and Business Law and the Construction Law Groups. For more than 30 years, he has practiced in all areas of commercial, corporate, and real estate law. His wide experience includes all forms of corporate and real estate issues. He represents institutional lenders on their lending needs in all areas of commercial loans, including health care, multi-family, and industrial and commercial projects.
Mr. Ostrowsky's extensive real estate practice encompasses all forms of transactional work, mortgage financing, and real estate development. He represents a wide range of purchasers and sellers in commercial transactions, including multi-use properties, office buildings, and shopping centers. In real estate litigation, his representation includes issues of lien priority, work out, foreclosure matters, and complex breach of contract actions. His clientele consists of real estate developers, operators, purchasers, lessors, and lessees of both residential and commercial properties, whom he advises on all aspects of their enterprises.
On corporate matters, Mr. Ostrowsky has represented and advised businesses in all aspects of corporate work, including acquisitions, sales, corporate structuring, and the preparation of corporate documentation of all forms of businesses.. He has represented many commercial enterprises in litigation on shareholder disputes, corporate deadlock, forced dissolution, contract disputes, and employment issues. A member of the firm's Transatlantic Business Committee, he stands ready to offer invaluable guidance on U.S., New York, and New Jersey business and real estate law of interest to international entities.
Mr. Ostrowsky has extensive experience in representing contractors throughout the metropolitan area. He has prepared and reviewed contracts and agreements for entities in the construction/contractor industry. He has broad experience in construction lien issues, and the application of the New Jersey construction lien statute to potential litigation of construction law disputes, and he has advised clients regularly on these issues.
