| Biography | Michael P. Friedman is a native of Old Town, Maine. He is a graduate of the University of Maine and Northeastern University School of Law. Prior to his association with Rudman Winchell, Mike worked in the legal departments of Kemper Insurance Group in Chicago and Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in Boston, and as a legal advisor to the United States Civil Service Commission in Washington, DC. Mike is a past member of the Maine Workers' Compensation Commission Advisory Group. In the summer of 2011 Mike chaired the committee on redistricting in the state of Maine. Mike Friedman's practice areas include Workers Compensation, Employment and Labor Law, Hospitality Law, and Mediation and Arbitration. Mike served as a chairman of the Maine Ethics Commission from 2007-2009.
