Michael P. Lucas is a partner at Barnes & Thornburg LLP, resident in the Indianapolis, Indiana office, where he is chair of the Governmental Services & Finance Department. He has practiced extensively in the area of municipal finance for the past 30 years and has participated in numerous municipal finance transactions in Indiana and throughout the United States. He has acted as bond counsel for the state of Indiana and innumerable local governmental units. Mr. Lucas is a member of the Indiana State Bar and American Bar Associations as well as the National Association of Bond Lawyers. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America® in the area of Public Finance. Mr. Lucas received his B.A. in 1975 from the University of Wisconsin and his J.D. summa cum laude from Indiana University School of Law - Indianapolis in 1978. He became a partner in 1985. |
