Michael S. Friedman is Of Counsel in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, office of Jackson Lewis P.C.
Mr. Friedman concentrates his practice in the representation of employers and management in connection with a wide array of workplace and employment issues at the federal court, state court and administrative agency levels involving all federal and state discrimination laws (including but not limited to: age, race, sex, national origin, disability, and religion), as well as issues concerning restrictive covenants, employment contracts and separation agreements.
Prior to working for Jackson Lewis, Mr. Friedman worked for a prominent Philadelphia law firm practicing in the area of labor and employment law, where he litigated and defended both litigation and administrative matters on behalf of the firms clients. Still earlier, Mr. Friedman served as the president of a full service sports management and marketing firm which represented professional athletes and coaches in all facets of management, negotiating playing contracts and procuring endorsement opportunities for clients in professional football, basketball and baseball.
While attending Franklin & Marshall College, Mr. Friedman was Class President and a member of the 1995 Centennial Conference Champion football team.
Mr. Friedman is currently serving in his second term as an elected Committeeman on the Voorhees Township (NJ) Committee. In that capacity, Mr. Friedman has served as the townships Director of Finance.
