MY JOB I am a plaintiff's attorney who represents people, from all walks of life, who have been injured in accidents. My clients are victims who were injured through no fault of their own. Instead, their injuries were caused by the carelessness or negligence of others, including both individuals and businesses. YOUR ATTORNEY I have a diverse educational and professional background which provides me with wide-ranging expertise and a unique knowledge base from which to advise clients. I graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts degree and then attended law school at the University of Georgia. After law school, I developed a unique set of practice specializations. Specifically, I represented clients in all aspects of negligence law. This included representation of plaintiffs injured as a result of auto accidents, defective products, or while on the premises of a landlord or business. Representing individuals in their quest to receive just compensation has always been my preference and passion. However, early in my career, I was also tasked by my employer with representing insurance companies defending against injured plaintiffs. This experience, while not my chosen area of practice, was nonetheless invaluable in helping me to understand the various processes and methods that insurance companies use to minimize and sometimes deny just claims. Now that I am dedicated exclusively to helping injured plaintiffs, I can use my "inside" knowledge of insurance company practices to help my clients effectively present their claims and maximize their monetary recovery. In addition to extensive experience representing plaintiffs, I have expertise in the field of bankruptcy primarily through the representation of debtors in Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy filings. Outside of the practice of law, I have considerable experience in the health care industry. This includes seven years working in sales capacities for large companies such as Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield and Aetna. This corporate experience is complemented by an internationally focused MBA degree received from the University of South Carolina. On the personal side, I am a father of two school age daughters who attend public school in Castle Rock, Colorado. I treasure activities with my daughters and enjoy travel, weight lifting, reading, visiting family, socializing with friends, and volunteering to help newly arrived immigrants with resettlement in the United States.
