Michael V. Knight is a partner in the South Bend, Indiana office of Barnes & Thornburg. He concentrates his practice in commercial and civil litigation. He represents businesses and individuals in contract, real property, construction, zoning, public housing and other commercial disputes and defends manufacturers in products liability cases and general tort litigation. Mr. Knight also focuses his attention on appeals before the Indiana Court of Appeals and Indiana Supreme Court.
Mr. Knight is a member of the Indiana and Illinois Bar Associations; the St. Joseph County Bar Association, and the Lake County Bar Association. Mr. Knight is a native of East Chicago, Lake County, Indiana. He graduated from Brown University, Providence Rhode Island, with an A.B in Economics. He received his J.D. magna cum laude from Valparaiso University School of Law. Mr. Knight is licensed to practice law in Indiana and Illinois state courts and before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.
Mr. Knight is a member of the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Club of St. Joseph County and the Board of Directors for Bishop Noll Institute, Hammond Indiana.
