Michel Bergeron is a partner in our Business Law Group in Montréal. He is a lawyer-revisor in the Translation Department.
Me Bergeron reviews the work of a group of professional translators with respect to a wide range of documents relating to business law and securities issues.
Me Bergeron is a certified translator and a member of the Ordre des traducteurs, terminologues et interprètes agréés du Québec, the Canadian Association of Legal Translators (CALT), the Canadian Bar Association and l'Union des écrivaines et écrivains du Québec. He is the author of the Working Securities Lexicon, sponsored by the CALT, teaches legal translation (for B.A. and master's degree students) at the Université de Montréal and is collaborating with the University of Ottawa for the creation of a new master's degree program in legal translation.
Me Bergeron received his bachelor of laws from Université Laval in 1980. He was called to the Québec bar in 1981.
