Michel Laplante is a partner in our Litigation Group in Montréal.
Mr. Laplante's practice focuses on medical malpractice litigation and general administrative law, including professional regulation and legislation pertaining to Alcoholic Beverages. He also practises in the field of civil litigation.
He worked with the Québec National Assembly from 1977 to 1983 as assistant to the deputy for the electoral division of Iberville. Mr. Laplante is "repeatedly recommended" in the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory, 2011 edition, as a leading practitioner in Québec for medical malpractice.
He received his B.Sc. (political) from the Université de Montréal in 1976 and his LLB from the Université de Montréal in 1986. He was called to the Québec bar in 1987.
Mr. Laplante is a member of the International Wine Law Association.
