Michelle practises Civil Litigation, at trial and on appeal, and has appeared before all levels of court including the Supreme Court of British Columbia, the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Bankruptcy Court of Canada, the Tax Court of Canada and the Federal Court of Appeal. Michelle is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, BC Branch.
Michelle's litigation experience includes real estate and property disputes including nuisance and trespass actions, landlord and tenant disputes, employment law, and debt collection on behalf of institutional lenders. Michelle has extensive experience in commercial litigation in addition to the years she spent as in house Foreign Counsel to a Tokyo based public company where she was responsible for drafting and negotiating a wide variety of commercial agreements including joint venture, licensing, distribution and technology development agreements.
