Practice/Industry Group Overview
No segment of our economy has undergone more transformation in the past ten years than health care. Changes in the delivery of health care present both challenges and opportunities to health care providers and to those who pay for health care services.
Miller & Martin attorneys have been on the forefront in helping their clients develop innovative ways to deliver and purchase health care services. The legal issues involved include those that are part of most business enterprises, plus those that are unique to health care such as HIPAA, anti-kickback and self-referral provisions, Medicare and private pay or billing, certificate of need issues, health care insurance statutes and regulations, hospital or other health care facility operational and regulatory matters, ambulatory surgery centers and medical malpractice.
