Mindy S. Novick is a Principal in Los Angeles, California, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice covers the spectrum of employment litigation, including both state and federal claims in individual and collective and class action suits.
Ms. Novick has handled cases involving claims of age, race, national origin, religion, disability and sex discrimination, as well as sexual harassment, retaliation, non-compete, restrictive covenant, trade secret, wage-hour, breach of contract and defamation issues. She regularly counsels clients on day-to-day human resources issues including employee handbooks and policies, employment contracts and provides training for her clients.
Ms. Novick has spoken before professional groups, including the ABA and ACC on a variety of subjects including: privacy, particularly with regard to electronic communications; ethical issues involved in discovery; compliance programs and Sarbanes-Oxley; sexual harassment; performance management; and wage and hour law.
