Mr. Jimeno attended Universidad de Chile's Law School, from where he graduated. In 1998, he completed a Master in Law (LLM) at Columbia University School of Law in New York City. A member of the Chilean bar Association since 1996, he taught International Trade Contracts at the Universidad de Chile's Law School (1998-2000). He was appointed by the Chilean government in the list of arbitrators for the MERCOSUR and the Agreements of Economic Cooperation with Ecuador and Venezuela. Recently, he was also appointed by the President of Chile as a member of the board of directors of the Chilean Commission of Copper, COCHILCO (May 2006 to May 2008). Currently, he is secretary to the work commission created by the Chilean Justice Department and Universidad de Chile's Law School to prepare the reform project of the Civil Procedure. From 2001 to 2002, Mr. Jimeno was an attorney at PillsburyWhinthrop LLP. in San Francisco, California, U.S.A. Before that, he worked at Estudio Etcheberry (1991-1998), Carey & Cía (1998-2003) and Philippi, Irarrazabal, Pulido & Brunner (2003-2006).
