He has been involved in a number of privatizations, complex corporate transactions and the negotiation of complex distribution and trade agreements. Shpati has significant expertise in company restructuring and transformation and M&A. Moreover, he has provided advice and assistance to several investors from the viewpoint of corporate governance and compliance of client's business policies with antitrust & competition regulations. Shpati has also been involved in several IP registration and IP administrative/judicial infringement/enforcement cases. In addition, Shpati was part of the legal teams that drafted the new Albanian commercial registry law (effective from 2007) as well as the new company law (effective from 2008). Shpati is a Local Partner for the World Bank's Doing Business project. Shpati Hoxha received in 2002 a J.D. equivalent in comparative commercial law from the Turin University Law School. Shpati is author/co-author of several publications in corporate and competition law. Shpati is a qualified Albanian lawyer.
