City of Monroe, C-20092158, 4th JD, highly publicized case in local area involving regional airport construction award with resolution of injunction in favor of client. Mathis v. Vandenberg, 42,973 (La. App. 2cd Cir. 3/19/08), 978 So. 2d 1210, 1213: involved dispute over agreement whereby my client negotiated and obtained a psychiatric hospital. Court described services as "excellent counsel." Irrigation Mart, Inc. v. Gray, 42,442 (La. App. 2cd Cir. 9/19/07), 965 So. 2d 988. Case involving undisclosed corporate agency and corporate piercing. Trial court adopted post trial memorandum for legal authorities, and Court of Appeal affirmed in favor of client. Alice Baker et al. v. Shelter Mutual Insurance Company, et al., 36,476, 3rd JDC, Verdict granted in favor of our client in casualty (automobile death) case, which settled prior to appeal. Sanders v. Backus, et al., 38,517 (La. App. 2cd Cir. 7/2/04), 877 So. 2d 1176; acted as first chair for defense in state court. Client was dismissed prior to the matter going before the jury. Lincoln Builders, Inc. v. Raintree Inv. Corp. Thirteen, 38,517 (La. App. 2cd Cir. 1/28/04), 866 So. 2d 326 (writ applied for by Lincoln Builders, Inc. with reversal on appeal); complex commercial case. Client collected approximately seventy percent of claim despite a personal Chapter 11 proceeding entitled In re: Desadier, 02-BK-12237 WDLA.
