| Biography | Areas of Practice Mr. Li Yong specializes in patent issues. His patent expertise encompasses polymer materials, petrochemical engineering, organic chemistry, pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, fine chemicals, catalysts, coatings, adhesives, textile, fibers, cosmetics, detergents, ink, dyes, and the paper industry. Mr. Li serves as a legal counsel for well-known multinational corporations and provides legal services in patent application / inquiry / search, patent re-examination and invalidation, patent infringement analyses, patent administrative and legal proceedings, investigation of patent infringement by administrative authority, licensing and assignment of patents and know-how, and other matters related to intellectual property rights. Work Experience Mr. Li Yong joined King & Wood in 2001. Prior to his joining our firm, he was a patent attorney at the Patent & Trademark Law Office of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. Mr. Li worked with an intellectual property firm in Germany in 1998. He obtained his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Science from Peking University. He was admitted as a Chinese patent attorney in 1994 and as an attorney-at-law in 1999. Mr. Li is proficient in Chinese and English. |
