| Biography | Caroline D. Lafourcade has been associated with the firm since 1996. She is a Board Certified Tax Law Specialist certified by the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization. Caroline currently serves as the Secretary-Treasurer of the Tax Section of the Louisiana State Bar Association and is a member of the New Orleans Bar Association Tax Law Committee. Caroline's practice focuses on federal, state and local taxation and regulatory issues, nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations, tax audits and tax litigation, business formation and planning, mergers and acquisitions, probate and estate administration, as well as estate planning. Caroline was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 1995 and is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the U.S. Tax Court. She is a member of the Louisiana, New Orleans, and Covington Bar Associations and the American Bar Association. Caroline is a graduate of Loyola Law School and Loyola University in New Orleans.
