Ms. Jiawen Huang

Areas of Practice Ms. Huang Jiawen specializes in corporate matters, foreign direct investment, mergers and acquisitions, outbound investment and international trade. Ms. Huang has extensive experience in providing legal services to domestic and foreign companies including, the drafting and review of legal documentation; due diligence; project structuring; negotiations; the establishment of legal entities; normal business operations; issuing legal opinions and coordination with governmental authorities on behalf of clients. She has many international clients, many of which are among the Global 500, spanning the energy; mining; aerospace; agriculture; telecommunications; pharmaceutical; food; autos; machinery; internet and high-technology; entertainment; logistics, and franchising sectors. Ms. Huang serves as corporate counsel to several large-scale state-owned enterprises in China, and has also represented them in overseas investment projects. She provided legal services to the Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2008 Olympic Games. Work Experience Ms. Huang joined King & Wood in 2003. Prior to joining King & Wood, she taught as a Lecturer at the Law School of Beijing Economics and Trade University, and previously worked as a lawyer at one Hong Kong and several Beijing firms.
