| Biography | My practice is focused on Divorce, divorce mediation and collaborative divorce. I am also experienced in family law issues that accompany divorce, such as child support and custody, spousal support and marital property issues, No-Fault divorce and prenuptial agreements. My philosophy is to approach each case from the perspective of the best interests of my clients. I provide personalized and thoughtful representation for each client, with the understanding that Divorce and Family law issues are about more than the law -- this is about your life and your family. Lagniappe ("A little something more") about me: I was graduated from Tulane Law School, in New Orleans, Louisiana in 2005, during which time I worked as an extern for Federal Magistrate Judge Louis Moore in the United States Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, and served as a Managing Editor of the prestigious Tulane Maritime Law Journal. I also enjoyed eating lots of spicy Cajun seafood. Prior to law school, I worked as an investigative newspaper reporter in Texas and Florida, winning the Associated Press Managing Editors of Texas Award in Investigative Journalism for a story I wrote about a botched and suspicious adoption case. I am admitted to the state bar in Maryland, D.C. and New York, and the following federal courts: United States District Court for the District of Maryland; United States District Court for the Southern District of New York; and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
