| Ms. Li Ping specializes in securities, M&A, enterprise restructuring, and finance. During her more than 20 years of legal practice, Ms. Li advised numerous state-owned and private enterprises on their reorganizations and IPOs throughout the world. Ms. Li has also represented many enterprises on M&A activity of listed companies or other enterprises in China. Currently, Ms. Li works as legal counsel for a number of commercial banks, listed companies, securities companies and foreign investment enterprises and has also often been invited by the government of Shandong Province and Qingdao City to advise on their decision-making on vital issues. Li Ping joined King & Wood in 2008. Before joining King & Wood, she practiced as a partner with the Shandong Deheng Law Firm and Shandong Mingfeng Law Firm respectively. Ms. Li obtained her B.S. from Qufu Normal University and her LLM and J.D. from the China University of Political Science and Law. Ms. Li was sent to a U.S. law firm in 1997 and to a Hong Kong law firm in 1999 for further study and training. She is a member of the Shandong Committee of the CPPCC and the Commission of Education, Science, Culture, Health and Sports of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomindang. She is also a member of the Finance & Securities Professional Commission of the All China Lawyer's Association. Li Ping was admitted as a PRC lawyer in 1986 and is proficient in Chinese and English. |
