| Biography | A trailblazer for women in the legal profession, Ms. Simmons is one of the most senior and highly regarded members of the Bar Association in the jurisdiction. She was admitted to the Bar of England and Wales in 1966 and the Bermuda Bar in 1967. She is also a member of the Turks & Caicos Bar and the British Virgin Islands Bar. Ms. Simmons managed a very successful practice for twenty-seven years and her experience and depth of knowledge in Conveyance, Wills and Estates is unparalleled. She is also one of the pre-eminent Arbitrators in the jurisdiction. Ms. Simmons presently serves on a number of Government Boards including The Essential Industries Disputes Settlement Board, the Permanent Arbitration Tribunal and the Tax Appeal Tribunal.
