Nadine Whyte is a Senior Associate in O'Neal Webster's Private Client and Litigation Departments. In 2016, Ms. Whyte was named a 'Rising Star' in the IFLR1000. Legal500 recognized her as an 'outstanding professional' in its 2014 Caribbean edition.
In November 2015, Mr. Paul Dennis QC, head of O'Neal Webster's litigation department, and Ms. Whyte successfully obtained an order in the Commercial Court, setting aside an injunction in the ongoing $500 million Hualon Corporation v Marty Limited litigation. More recently, in January 2016, the team scored a significant victory for the BVI Electricity Corporation in a claim brought by the BVIEC against its sole supplier of fuel, Delta Petroleum (Caribbean) Ltd. (Delta).
Prior to joining O'Neal Webster, Ms. Whyte was the Deputy Registrar of the BVI High Court Registry with responsibility for probate and other quasi judicial matters. She also acted as the Judicial Assistant to one of the Judges of the High Court of the Eastern Supreme Court in Tortola between June 2006 and May 2008 and was a Crown Counsel at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions in Jamaica.
