Nanor L. Terjanian is an associate with the Employment Team at Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer. Ms. Terjanian concentrates her practice in all areas of labor and employment law. Her practice includes handling all types of discrimination, harassment and retaliation matters; drafting and reviewing employment agreements and employee handbooks; and advising private and public sector employers on topics including hiring and firing, wage and hour compliance, personnel policies, disciplining and evaluating employees, and compliance with the Federal Family and Medical Leave Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Before joining the firm, Ms. Terjanian was in private practice working on a wide range of matters before federal and state courts in New Jersey and New York. During law school, she worked for the Employee Disciplinary Division of the New York City Housing Authority, and served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Morris Stern and the Honorable Donald H. Steckroth, both of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey.
Ms. Terjanian received her B.A. from Lafayette College with a double major in Economics & Business and Spanish, and her J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. She is fluent in Armenian and Spanish, and is a Soprano-member of the Monmouth Civic Chorus.
