Representative Matters
· Trial counsel and counsel on appeal in a nationally significant precedent-setting case in which the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit en banc held that the Federal Government was a responsible party for the cleanup of a Superfund site as a result of the Government's activities at the site during World War II;
· Successfully represented the 2001 Pennsylvania Legislative Reapportionment Commission before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania with respect to challenges to the 2001 Reapportionment Plan;
· Obtained a reversal from the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit of judgments of approximately $6 million based on claims of conversion.
