Neil Oberfeld assists national and regional retailers, developers, institutional owners and investors in real estate and general business matters. Neil concentrates his practice on acquisition, development, leasing, finance and investment transactions, including retail, office and industrial real estate; joint venture and fund formation and investment; secured and commercial loan transactions; and property tax assessment.
Neil has wide-ranging experience in all phases of real estate development, leasing and finance. Neil is also actively engaged in assisting clients with joint venture and fund investment transactions. He is a frequent speaker at national and regional conferences including the International Conference of Shopping Centers and U.S. Green Building Council.
Neil earned a spot among Law Week Colorado's Lawyers of the Year in 2010 and he was recognized as the Volunteer Lawyer of the Year by the Denver Bar Association in 2005. He was honored to be the 2011 recipient of the Philip D. and Eleanor Winn Community Service Award from the University of Denver Bridge Project. The Anti-Defamation League also recognized Neil nationally with the Daniel Ginsberg Leadership Award in 1996, and at the local level with the Fred Silverberg Young Leadership Award in 1995.
