Professional Experience: Mr. Sydow is an associate in the Albuquerque office. He practices in the Litigation Department with an emphasis on complex and high risk litigation. In his practice, Mr. Sydow represents clients in complex procedural and appellate matters, including class action litigation in both state and federal courts. Mr. Sydow also has experience coordinating large discovery efforts in such cases, including the management and production of electronic data. Prior to joining the Rodey Law Firm, Mr. Sydow was an associate at Irell & Manella LLP in Los Angeles, where he was a member of the firm's litigation workgroup. During law school, Mr. Sydow was the Executive Editor for Solicited Articles of the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review. As an editor, he authored "A 'Shrink'-ing Privilege: United States v. Romo and the 'Course of Diagnosis' Requirement of the Psychotherapist-Patient Privilege," which was published at 41 Harv. C.R.-C.L. L. Rev. 265 (2006). Mr. Sydow was also a semifinalist in the Ames Moot Court Competition.
