Nicolai focuses his practice on aviation and commercial litigation matters. As a member of the firm's Aviation Litigation Practice Group, Nick regularly represents aircraft operators and owners, component manufacturers, airlines and airports. He also devotes a significant portion of his practice to various complex litigation matters, including business disputes, interpretation of contracts and insurance policies, product liability matters and construction defect litigation. Additionally, he has handled numerous general liability cases.
Nicolai previously worked within the Professional Liability and Technology, Media, and Data Security Practice Groups of the firm, where he handled cases ranging from defending various professionals in malpractice actions to advising entities regarding state and federal data privacy laws. He gained unique experience assisting clients in responding to data breaches, including issuing individual notifications pursuant to state and federal law, corresponding with state Attorneys General and establishing identity theft prevention programs.
He is currently admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
