Biography

Nicolas Borda focuses his practice on energy and natural resources, with an emphasis on oil and gas (upstream, midstream and downstream), mining, and alternative energy projects. Nicolas is licensed to practice law in Mexico and in New York. He advises clients in international and cross-border transactions, regulatory, mergers and acquisitions, energy project development and real estate matters, government procurement, public policy, and dispute resolution.

Nicolas has been ranked by Chambers & Partners as Band 1 in energy and natural resources in Mexico, and currently chairs the Energy Committee of the National Association of Corporate Counsels (ANADE).
