Biography

Nicole L. Borda concentrates her practice on the representation of business clients in a wide range of commercial, employment, tort, insurance, health care and patent litigation matters for various corporations, financial institutions, health care entities, small to mid-size businesses, and individuals.

Nicole's recent representations include:

· Representing the governing board of a nonprofit corporation with respect to relationships between a major university and its law school.

· Representing a university athletics coach in a civil rights and defamation action by a former student athlete claiming race, gender and sexual orientation discrimination.

· Representing a Canadian manufacturing company in a patent infringement case.

· Representing a consulting firm and its principals in defense of action for breach of employment agreements and commercial disparagement.

A participant in Buchanan's summer associate program in 2001, Nicole gained experience in complex litigation cases for a wide variety of corporate clients.

In 2000, while in law school, Nicole served as a summer associate with the corporate and litigation divisions in the Harrisburg office of an Eastern United States firm.
