Biography

Ms. Cung is a partner in the firm's Fayetteville office. She is the first Vietnamese person to be licensed to practice law in the State of Arkansas. Ms. Cung concentrates her practice on commercial litigation and complex insurance defense. She has participated in jury trials involving a variety of claims, including contract, construction defect, product liability, wrongful death and personal injury, professional liability, and malicious prosecution. She also has succeeded in obtaining dismissals for clients by way of early dispositive motions.

Ms. Cung has a special interest in the motor carrier industry, assisting trucking company clients with contracts and agreements, government disputes and regulatory issues, as well as defending them against negligence claims.

Governor Beebe appointed Ms. Cung to serve on the State's Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council. On occasion, she teaches a semester of Torts in the Paralegal Program at Northwest Arkansas Community College. Ms. Cung is a member, and former Chair, of the Board of Directors of Arkansas Law Review, Inc. and currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors for Legal Aid of Arkansas. She is a graduate of the International Association of Defense Counsel Trial Academy and the National Institute for Trial Advocacy Advanced Advocates Program and is recognized in the Mid-South edition ofSuper Lawyers .
