Noreen's practice includes the prosecution and defense of real estate litigation matters and commercial disputes. Noreen represents property owners in civil disputes involving easements, title insurance, boundary disputes, adverse possession, partitions, and commercial evictions. Noreen also represents individuals, municipalities and corporations in commercial litigation involving breach of contract, negligent and fraudulent misrepresentation, and breach of fiduciary duty. Representative cases include:
· Prevailed on a motion to dismiss for a municipality client in a declaratory judgment action filed by taxpayer alleging failure to abide by terms of charter.
· Obtained dismissal for realtor client sued by buyer of property alleging negligent misrepresentation.
· Obtained a favorable settlement for realtor client sued by buyer of property alleging negligent misrepresentation.
· Second chaired jury trial ending in jury verdict for automobile dealer client against automobile manufacturer for violation of state statute.
· Prevailed on motion for summary judgment for oil dealer client in breach of contract lawsuit filed against local law firm.
Prior to joining Eaton Peabody in 2005, Noreen was an associate at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius in Philadelphia where she focused on white collar criminal defense and government investigations. While in law school, Noreen was an Associate Editor and Senior Editor of the Journal of Constitutional Law at the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
