Representative Experience
Currently representing WellPoint Health Networks in acquisition of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Georgia and its holding company.
Lead outside counsel to Georgia Lottery Corporation; supervised legal aspects of start-up of Georgia Lottery in 1993.
Represented AT&T in major tax dispute with State Revenue Department.
Represented Vista Resources in obtaining state regulatory approval of purchase of casualty insurer.
Represented CSX Railroad in obtaining land use, and environmental permits for two major intermodal rail/truck facilities.
Headed effort to obtain necessary development approvals for a 3.5 million square-foot office complex which will include the corporate headquarters for Hewlett-Packard.
